Mindful eating is about using mindfulness to reach a state of full attention to your experiences, cravings and physical cues when eating. With the business of daily life, eating can sometimes become a mindless act. Give yourself the gift of slowing down, tuning in and truly savoring your food to cultivate your inner ‘mindful eater’. Drawing on recent research, participants will build skills to foster awareness, presence and compassion during meals. Light snacks provided.

In this workshop you’ll learn to:

  • Tune into your body’s own wisdom about what, when and how much to eat
  • Cultivate a more compassionate attitude towards yourself
  • Develop techniques for eating that increase satisfaction

Registration is required in order to be prepare the snacks and is limited to the first 15 who register. This workshops is a good fit for beginner and intermediate practitioners seeking to deepen their understanding of mindfulness.

Lindsey is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist with over 5 years of experience as a meditation instructor. Additionally, she is a Certified Health and Wellness coach and yoga instructor who helps cultivate, a sacred and safe space for people where they can connect with their higher selves, better understand their purpose on this earth and mindfully step into their power with clarity and grace.
